Dietary for pregnant women
How many of us get angry when our normal feed ration is being shared. well, I don't know about you , but for me , I do get furious. 
The same way it goes for the body system of pregnant women , hence, they need to get more rations (balanced one actually) in order to nourish them alongside their unborn children efficiently. 
The generality of people accept that a rich diet is essential for a pregnant woman. A rich diet is a qualitative and not a quantitative one. while there is no consensus on the max weight a lady can gain during pregnancy, you and I know that excessive weight gained during pregnancy can later become difficult to shed after pregnancy.
Apart from the fact that the unborn child might amass too much weight and size , it jeopardizes easy delivery through the vagina.
Bearing all these in mind, it is recommended that an expectant mother increases her intake of :
*milk
*eggs
*meat
*green vegetables
*fish and crayfish
*fruits
*beans, soybeans.

She should also have a balanced and adequate intake of :
*bread
*rice
*sugar
*potatoes
*beverages

Beverages like coffee, tea, cola, that contains a lot of caffeine should be taken in moderation as this chemical can make a baby have a low birth weight.

On the other hand , an inadequate diet, probably due to the lack of quality portends dangers for both the expectant mother and her child.
The mother might lack stamina or tend to become short of blood. Also, the baby's growth might become impaired.

NOTE: Drugs are no substitute for a good diet. So if you are pregnant, ensure you take a good meal always.
